Chicago Takes K Street *** http://youtu.be/-Qg7mR1rCRQ On Wednesday, December 7 -- Day Three of Take Back the Capitol -- thousands of protesters from across the country gathered on the Mall in different delegations to fan out to different corporate headquarters (Stand Up! Chicago went to Verizon) before joining up on K Street to declare it 99% Street. We took the street, and gathered in the middle of the intersection with arms linked. We were there for about two hours before police arrested Rev. C.J. Hawking of Arise Chicago. Everyone marched back to the camp on the Mall, with the Stand Up! Chicago contingent leading the way.
